“All paths lead to now. I have found myself, following many years of experimentation, in the fortunate position of playing with, who i believe to be, the most innovative musicians in our area of music. We are developing a new sound, treading the line between improvisation, live house, acid-jazz, jungle and everything in between.” – Horatio Luna
“What happens when you apply the sprawling, human energy of live jazz to the mechanical, rhythmic structures of house music?…To listen is to feel Hicks and his trio working it out in real-time, improvising house beats the way they would jazz rhythms. The approach is so intimate that, at times, you feel like you’re in the room, close enough to hear the musicians breathing and shuffling around each other…” – Pitchfork
“Moments of spontaneous voodoo magic emerge through a warm bath of breakbeats, fuzzed out funk and spiritual jazz…” – Ziggy Zeitgeist
